Yan + Kevin – The Grand Imperial Wedding – Edmonton | ELAINE GAN

We had such a great time photographing Yan + Kevin and hanging out with their crew! Duane + I absolutely loved the energy and moments from that special fall day. We have a talented wedding party! Carmen, one of the bridesmaids, is a professional makeup artist, did the hair and makeup that morning, who also happens to own Ciel Bridal Studio which is where Yan got her amazing wedding gown and veil! The florals were so stunning, since Odelia, one of the bridesmaids, owner of O Pretty Florals, did all the jaw-dropping arrangements. Alex Chan was a fantastic wedding planner and made sure the day ran smoothly.

The groomsmen skillfully succeeded through the challenging door games, and the couple had their first look. Duane + I definitely took advantage of photographing the wedding party in the gorgeous bridal suite at the Delta South Edmonton Hotel. It was off to the ceremony at The Grand Imperial, one of my favorite venues for weddings and events. Their outdoor terrace is beautiful and adorned with the loveliest florals. After the tea ceremonies and family formals, we sped off to the river valley and downtown for some seriously sunny wedding party photos! The reception started with an amazing lion dance, and guests enjoyed the night with lots of fabulous food, drink, games, dancing, and prizes! There were lots of laughs and heartfelt moments to capture.
