Hello Everyone!

It’s been a VERY long time since I posted on the blog 🙂 I have used my Facebook page as my main source of updates instead this past year.

I usually post only one favourite image from a shoot on facebook, and that doesn’t give a full account of all the fabulous images from a shoot. Even several, such as, ten images would give a better story, which is where my blog comes in. I hope to post more in the coming weeks!

Back on topic, Google announced that on April 21st 2015, it will penalize those sites that are not mobile-friendly in their rankings. I checked and it turns out my website www.elainegreen.com was not up to par with mobile devices, therefore I had to quickly get onboard with making my website mobile-compliant. It went from a Flash-based site to an HTML-5 version in a day, and I added new imagery and info along with the update. Please check out my updated website for the new design!

On another note, I have exciting news 🙂 I got married in January in Cancun, Mexico and had an amazing honeymoon trekking all over Southeast Asia. My wedding photographers flew in from Colombia, Carlos Andres Alvarez from Artpix Studios and John Rave from John Rave Photography, they were beyond amazing and the best decision I made about my wedding. Their dedication to fearless photography and unending passion for taking dramatic images was why I wanted to hire them early on. I just knew they had to be the ones that documented our destination wedding, and no one else came close to consideration.

I’ve received just a few images from him, and they are FANTASTIC! Beyond my wildest expectations. Our destination wedding was already perfect in every way, but this just topped the cake. I cannot thank Andres and John enough. I can’t wait to see the rest of the images!
